COBOL Generator [Six Sigma CASE, Inc]

COBOL Generator creates a file of COBOL records. Each table in theCanonizer database becomes a separate COBOL record, with each data itemin the table a member of the record. Unique, non-null, foreign key, andprimary key items are indicated in comments. Data items that are in theCanonizer's data item dictionary, but that do not appear in any table arelisted in comments at the end of the generated file. These records can beinserted directly into any COBOL program.COBOL Generator changes standard SQL data types to COBOL data types. Ifan item's data type is not recognized as an SQL data type, the data typeis output unchanged. Thus, COBOL data types can be entered directly intothe data type field when adding an item if only COBOL record files are tobe generated from the database.
